Jhon Duran is set to have a medical in London on Thursday as a move to join Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr edges ever closer.
The Aston Villa striker is hot property this month with a number of clubs pushing to land his signature.
Mail Sport reported last week that Duran had emerged as a target for Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr.
And it can now be reported that a £64.5million deal between the clubs has been struck and a medical is expected to take place on Thursday.
Personal terms are said to already have been sorted.
It is a move of significance, too, as an exit for Duran can help financially in pursuit of Wolves forward Matheus Cunha.
Mail Sport sources indicate that an offer from Villa for the Wolves forward without a sale is unlikely.
Cash from Duran's sale would also be used to strengthen the defence with Chelsea's Axel Disasi, Villarreal's Juan Foyth and Lens' Kevin Danso among the options.
Duran has scored 12 goals from 29 appearances this season in all competitions for Unai Emery's side.
Despite his impressive form, Duran has found first-team starts hard to come by throughout the campaign, with Emery often preferring Ollie Watkins, who Arsenal saw a bid rejected for this week, as the lone striker in his side.
Al-Nassr, who are currently fourth in the Saudi Pro League, are looking to add a striker this window.
The knock on effect of losing Duran would be that it all but extinguishes any chance of Watkins also leaving the club this month.
Arsenal launched a stunning swoop for the Aston Villa striker ahead of next week’s transfer deadline, only to see the bid swiftly rejected.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is a long-term admirer of the England international and the club have moved for the 29-year-old.
It is understood Arsenal have made an initial offer for Watkins which has been rejected but an improved attempt is expected.
Mail Sport revealed the Gunners' move for Watkins on Wednesday afternoon and subsequent reports have indicated the offer was worth £60m.
Villa are understood to have been angered by Arsenal’s bid and do not want to sell Watkins.
It is said that Villa would prefer to sell Colombia international Duran, even though Watkins’s financial value is unlikely to increase given he turns 30 in December.

Why don't they just buy a whole squad. Buy Liverpool they got talented players. Salah, Van Dijk, Arnold good investments.
