How on earth did Lallana who has barely played this year make it at Wilshere's or Shelvey's expense.
It's a pity I can't support my own team at a World Cup. This team is so underwhelming.

I am highly disappointed in the squad. Gareth would have to convince me,why Lallana and not Wilshire? Why Alexander Arnold and not Smalling? Experience and big stage temperament is important. Also Smalling's aerial ability in opponents area is phenomenal.

of course expectations aren't high after all there is an English team in the Champions League final, the young English teams have won and finalized in their respective World cups, but who knew the senior squad should aim so low.
