The first international break of the 2018/19 season has arrived and Jordi Alba won't be part of the Spain squad, having been left out by Luis Enrique, but the left-back can spend the next two weeks looking back on an excellent performance in the 8-2 victory over Huesca.
He responded to his national team snub by scoring the seventh goal of the Blaugrana's win, while he also forced an own goal and assisted Luis Suarez for another.
It was a top-class display from the man who is one of the first names on Ernesto Valverde's team sheets and he seemed thrilled to have found the back of the net during the match, blowing a kiss towards a camera as part of his goal celebration.

Alba is not a big defender as well. Alba can't dribble like Marcelo and he can't do cross passes as good as Marcelo and Mendy do it.. He is not a perfect RB

Always brilliant when overlapping... Enrique always had issues with him for reasons we can't understand but we hope that the rest resulting from being snubbed helps him perform at the highest tempo for barca
