Juventus came into the game as Serie A leaders but were forced to fight for a draw against Sassuolo at the Allianz Stadium.
Match Report
Lacklustre Juventus needed a Cristiano Ronaldo penalty to salvage a 2-2 home draw with Sassuolo that left the door ajar for Serie A title rivals Inter.
Maurizio Sarri's men were set to pay a hefty price for a poor performance until Paulo Dybala appeared off the bench and won a 68th-minute spot-kick, which Ronaldo duly converted.
Leonardo Bonucci had fired Juve into a 20th-minute lead but an almost immediate response from Jeremie Boga seem to send panicked shivers through the home side.
Francesco Caputo capitalised on dual defensive blunders to give Sassuolo the lead and, though Juve steadied enough to pinch a point, the result would have been appreciated by Inter, who had SPAL at home later on Sunday.

7' Can misses a golden chance!
Bernardeschi has options left and right. He opts for Higuain who crosses in. Can gets into the right position but scuffs wide from six yards! That was a sitter.
20' GOAL! Juventus 1-0 Sassuolo (Bonucci)
Juve's captain Bonucci rifles home from outside the box - it's a lovely strike right in the bottom corner. Bentancur gets the assist and Juve lead!
22' GOAL! Juventus 1-1 Sassuolo (Boga)
A peach of a goal from Boga! The Ivorian picks up the ball on the edge of the box, plays a give-and-go with Caputo and cleverly dinks the ball over Buffon.
47' GOAL! Juventus 1-2 Sassuolo (F. Caputo)
It's a horror show at the back for Juve! Cuadrado puts De Ligt in trouble and the Dutchman's clearance goes straight to Caputo. Caputo makes no mistake from the edge of the box, although Buffon should have done much better, and Sassuolo have a shock lead!
61' OFFSIDE! Ronaldo's goal disallowed
Ronaldo rounds Turati and walks the ball in the net, but he's offside.
68' Penalty Goal! Juventus 2-2 Sassuolo (Ronaldo)
Romagna slides in unwisely on Dybala, who's changed the game since he came on. Ronaldo steps up and calmly dispatches the penalty into the bottom left corner.

Amazing 18 year old in the 18 yard area pulling a great save in the 18th minute to deny Bianconneri. That is Turati for Sassuolo.

To be honest very off game by him. I think he is not fully recovered he is still injured. He needs to rest otherwise he is just wasting his minutes on the pitch.

Unpopular Opinion Let us all accept the fact that Ronaldo is no longer at his peak .He just another striker. Right Now he's far from the level of Lewandowski Benzema Vardy ,Aubameyang , Mbappe Salah or Mane not talking about Messi.. Tell me when was the last time Ronaldo scored from open play? When was the last time he produced one of those spectacular Ronaldo moments? I won't be surprised if he finishes 5th or 6th in the Ballon D'or ranking . I don't see Ronaldo winning any other Ballon D'or in his career . He might not even be nominated for next year Ballon D'or Juve was the wrong move
