Emery needs to create an Arsenal carved out of his own image. The only way to do that is to buy his type of players. The owner won't throw in money as the owners of Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea or even Man U are doing. Arsenal management needs to free up wages by selling or letting go of some players. Emery isn't the only one in charge of transfers in the club, The 4 man team is.

I was ok with Ramsey leaving. But I have changed my mind ever since he got involved in the fight with the Spurs players in the first half, squared up to Alli, then came on and got two assists. Put that contract back on the table. I have seen his passion and professionalism in recent weeks and I have been impressed. I think he wants to play for Emery.
