The 20-year-old has struggled for minutes since Ruben Amorim came in and requested to leave the club on loan at the end of the summer transfer window.
It’s understood Mainoo’s desire to leave the club with his place in England’s World Cup squad in major doubt hasn’t diminished heading into January.
According to Tutto Juve, the Old Lady have entered the race alongside Serie A rivals Napoli to secure his services on a permanent basis.
The report calls the midfielder a ‘talent which conquers half of Europe’ and dubbed Mainoo as ‘Pogba 2.0’ as Juventus hope he will make the same switch.
