With Manchester City excluded from Europe for two years, Pep Guardiola could move on with Juventus, PSG and Bayern Munich all potential destinations.
UEFA announced on Friday that Manchester City had been fined €30m and banned from taking part in the Champions League or Europa League for the 2020-21 and 2021-22 campaigns after years of Financial Fair Play violations.
Inevitably, this also raised question marks over the future of their manager, as Guardiola had long been linked with the exit should UEFA come down hard on the club.
Juventus have to be the favourites, as the Turin giants had already reportedly approached Guardiola last summer, before signing Maurizio Sarri.
There were sources close to Juve who were absolutely adamant until the last minute that Guardiola was going to be their new coach, but that would’ve depended on the UEFA verdict coming out earlier.
Manchester City will appeal, but even a reduction might not be enough to keep the former Barcelona tactician on the bench.
Other candidates for Guardiola’s signature include Paris Saint-Germain, who had FFP controversy of their own, or a return to Bayern Munich, claim Calciomercato.com.

This would be brilliant for Juventus. Someone with actual strategy and tactics. It also be great for Serie A as a whole. Sarri and management are smoking the team unconscious.
