Mohamed Salah is due to leave Liverpool this summer after glittering spell at Anfield and one of his potential suitors have spoken out on a move for the Egyptian forward
Juventus have disputed claims that they have made a move to sign Liverpool star Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian forward is due to bring his stunning spell at Merseyside to an end this summer.
Salah will be allowed to depart for nothing despite an extra year remaining on his deal at Anfield. As it stands, it has not been announced where the 33-year-old will be playing his football next season, but Salah has plenty of suitors.
Saudi clubs have been linked with a fresh attempt to tempt him to the Middle East, while reports had suggested Serie A giants had launched exploratory talks over a possible deal.
But sporting director Marco Ottolini has now spoken out and rejected claims that contact has been made with his representatives. Speaking to 365Scores, he said: "What is being said about negotiations for Mohamed Salah is not true. At the moment, there is absolutely nothing regarding that."

Salah’s agent, Ramy Abass Issa, gave an update on his client’s future last month and claimed that no definitive decision had been made. Taking to social media, he said: "We do not know where Mohamed will play next season. This also means that no one else knows."
Salah now has a maximum of five games left as a Liverpool player, with just three games remaining at Anfield. But he ensured he had a final mark on the Merseyside derby last week with a goal at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Speaking about his goal, Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk said: “There will be a lot of words coming out of my mouth over the next couple of weeks on him. But listen, he is so important for us, on and off the pitch.
“I would say, the appreciation sometimes comes a little bit when players are gone, but we appreciate him so much. He is an outstanding teammate to have, obviously we have been through everything together; highs, lows.
“He will still be important for the last five games that we have to play and then it will be emotional for him and his family, for sure. But for us as well, because he meant a lot to me, a lot to the team and to the fans of course. But first, we have still a job to do and he knows it – that’s the main focus.”
Salah will hope to be back in action this weekend as Liverpool continue their push for a Champions League spot. Arne Slot’s side currently sit fifth and only three points behind Aston Villa ahead of a clash with Crystal Palace.
