Juventus have decided to sack Maurizio Sarri following the Italian side's Champions League elimination against Lyon and the search for a new coach has begun.
Mauricio Pochettino is the leading coach who is currently without a job, following his sacking from Tottenham in November.
He has been able to negotiate with new clubs since May 20 and, in the final days of that month, there was contact with Juventus.
They've made contact with a few coaches, having decided that the decision to hire Sarri wasn't the correct one.
Pochettino has wanted to wait before jumping into a new job, biding his time while being linked with Newcastle, Monaco and Benfica.
Now, one of Europe's top jobs has become available and the Argentine is a leading candidate.

I admit that Poch is a world class manager even as an Arsenal fan. It's a shame that he went to a club which was not supporting his vision. Regardless, he got top 4 for so long and not to mention the legacy of the Audi cup which he won. I guess it's time for him to move forward and Juventus is not a bad team. I wish him good luck if he's doing so.....

It just doesn't matter he has or hasn't won any tropies he has the vision to make gameplay beautiful and full of quality. He just need to make some good gameplays for the team and Ronaldo and Dybala will make him win tropies. Remember Zidane too hadn't won but good gameplay made him win let's just give him positive hopes if he joins Juventus because he has shown his qualities

The issue is that Poch isn't a proven winner, and Juventus needs a coach who can win the UCL. Poch isn't the best option, he will suit a club not to worried about winning trophies
