Jadon Sancho is prepared to cut his wages by around £200,000-a-week to facilitate a move to Juventus - but the Italian giants are still unwilling to meet the new demand, reports in Italy claim.
Last week, it was reported that the Manchester United outcast had held 'positive' talks with the Old Lady, and it has been claimed that the winger is prioritising a move to Turin.
Sancho, who joined United in a £73million deal in 2021 but endured a desperately miserable stay in Manchester, spent last season on loan at Chelsea but failed to agree terms on a permanent deal. It is believed that his high wage demands were the stumbling block in negotiations.
The 25-year-old's current salary is said to be in excess of a staggering £300,000-a-week. United are holding out for a fee of £25m but with his wage demands mean a loan cannot be ruled out.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Sancho is ready to accept an €8m-a-year (£7m) contract at Juventus but the Bianconeri are unwilling to go beyond €6m plus add-ons (£5m).
Last week, Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claimed that Juve were considering a swap deal for Sancho, sending three stars, Douglas Luiz, Dusan Vlahovic and Timothy Weah, the other way.
United were said to have been made aware that all three players are for sale, though it is is unclear if all three would have been involved in a deal for Sancho. The idea was reportedly raised during negotiations about the Englishman.
Sancho is one of five unsettled stars who were told to stay away from the training ground when the rest of the squad reported for pre-season at Carrington on Monday.
United sources say the decision to delay the return of Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Sancho and Tyrell Malacia is because they want to leave the club after going out on loan last season and now have more time to explore a move.
The five players will still be allowed to access the medical and rehab facilities at Carrington if needed, but Amorim and the rest of the squad will have gone on pre-season tour to the US by the time they are required to report for training later this month at the earliest.

Sancho is not better than any of to those Juve players mentioned in this piece. Useless Juve! To what extent have premier players performed in top notch clubs in Serie A? Little! Two Serie A matches is enough to send Sancho to the garage. Juve should go for fresh Serie A players in clubs like Lecce, Parma and so on, they already know theleague than a ManU flop of this kind, or go for Ligue One players.

that's how stupid Manchester United is, paying high wages for average players is one of the key problem that is affecting them. look at Sanchez deal, rashlaze, pogba and Sancho and the likes, no big team would pay them such huge amounts.the problem they created is bounce back on them. they lack market strategy
