Igor Tudor has been relieved of his duties by Juventus following a dismal run of form.
Tudor's dismissal comes after a poor run of results for the Bianconeri, who are winless in their last eight games in all competitions, having lost 1-0 to Lazio on Sunday.
Juve have collected just 12 points from their first eight matches of this Serie A campaign; the last time they earned fewer at this stage of a top-flight season was in 2015-16 (nine points on that occasion).
With Tudor’s exit, Juventus have replaced their head coach before the end of October for the first time since 1969-70. That season, the Bianconeri went on to finish third in Serie A.
Juve appointed Tudor in March, with the Croatian replacing Thiago Motta.
Tudor's coaching staff have also been dismissed.
The Bianconeri have appointed Massimo Brambilla as interim head coach. He will take charge for Wednesday's league game against Udinese.
Juve sit ninth in Serie A, and 25th in the 36-team Champions League standings.
