Juventus to win race for Club Brugge defender Ordonez

Juventus are set to land Club Brugge defender Joel Ordonez.

ESPN commentator Jorge Barril is reporting that Juventus are about to sign Ordóñez, 22.

Juventus have a verbal agreement with Club Brügge for the centre-back.

The price tag is said to land at around €40m.

Ordóñez has managed to make 16 international appearances for Ecuador and has a contract until 2029.

Juve are swooping for the young defender ahead of rival interest from the likes of Liverpool and Inter Milan.
