Gareth Southgate has named a 25-strong squad for England’s games with Czech Republic and Montenegro this month.
The Three Lions kick-off their EURO 2020 qualifying campaign against the Czechs at Wembley on Friday 22 March, before they travel to Podgorica to face Montenegro three days later.
And Southgate’s first selection of 2019 sees an England call-up for West Ham United’s Declan Rice, who only recently switched his international allegiance from the Republic of Ireland.
There is also a return for Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton, who is in the squad for the first time since the pre-tournament preparations for last summer’s FIFA World Cup finals.
The squad
Goalkeepers: Jordan Pickford, Jack Butland, Tom Heaton
Defenders: Trent Alexander Arnold, Ben Chilwell, Michael Keane, Harry Maguire, Danny Rose, Luke Shaw, John Stones, James Tarkowski, Kieran Trippier, Kyle Walker
Midfielders: Ross Barkley, Dele Alli, Fabian Delph, Eric Dier, Jordan Henderson, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Declan Rice

Should give Odoi a run at opponents. With most footballers they have to have club chances to play with international, for Odoi it looks like its gonna have to be the other way round. I think he is better than Sancho if given the chance. He has in his locker a very similar skillset to Ronaldo when he was young.

Very Strong Lineup Now the England have good depth in the squad. There are lots of players and it's hard to choose the squad. Very much happy to see Rice and Sancho in squad. I am sure in recent years England will lift a major trophy. I am just waiting for the Euro 2020. 🏴❣

If I had a say I would organize an Inter-league competition it will be much more interesting then national teams imagine The EPL you may have 10 nationalities in the team it would be a bigger crowd puller when the final is between La Liga and the EPL

Pickford shouldnt be called. He is suspect. Call ups for Pope, Foster and Heaton makes more sense
