Man City have enjoyed a comfortable afternoon in which they played a slow tempo and smashed in six goals as they defeated Hong Kong side Kitchee 6-1.
Match Reports
Pep Guardiola named a surprisingly strong starting XI for City's third pre-season friendly and it was never going to be anything other than a big win, which was confirmed when David Silva chipped in the opening after 15 minutes.
Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane made it three at half-time with fine finishes, before Sane scored a second just after the break. Goals for youngsters Nabil Touaizi and Iker Pozo, either side of a Kitchee consolation which sent the fans wild, sealed the win in incredibly humid conditions.
City starlet Phil Foden also made his return to City as a second-half substitute, after joining up with the squad in Hong Kong following an extended break following his participation in the U21 European Championships for England.
