Manchester United are weighing up what to do regarding Kobbie Mainoo's future with the club not short of suitors as the likes of Real Madrid keep tabs on the young midfielder
Kobbie Mainoo has attracted interest from ten clubs as Manchester United weigh up whether or not to move on their academy midfielder before the summer transfer window closes. The Englishman burst onto the scene under Erik ten Hag but has seen his progress stall.
Ruben Amorim has left him on the bench for the opening two games of the Premier League and he's yet to get any minutes with a queue of clubs prepared to take Mainoo off their hands.
It remains to be seen whether United would rather sanction a loan move, or sell him all together, which would help their PSR situation. They've spent over £200million this summer but are yet to sanction many permanent exits with time now against them.
The Daily Mail understands that both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are among the clubs eyeing up Mainoo. The bulk of the interest in him is Premier League-based but the two La Liga giants would consider making moves for the 20-year-old.
Mainoo has grown increasingly frustrated with his bit part role in Manchester, which has coincided with Amorim's arrival at the club. The situation has been made worse by the lack of progress regarding contract talks and a decision is now wanted imminently.
Chelsea were once heavily interested in Mainoo, but look to have settled on their midfield which may rule them out of the race. The midfielder was tipped as one of the brightest talents to emerge at Old Trafford in years, scoring in the FA Cup final win within months of making his debut.
However at Fulham on Sunday Casemiro, who was once tipped to leave the club, was chosen ahead of him to play alongside Bruno Fernandes in midfield. Amorim's system only allows for two midfielders to play and one of those is nearly always the United skipper, meaning places are at a premium.
Amorim hinted last week that Mainoo's understanding needs to improve before he can become a regular. He said: "We had some issues but we play with two midfielders, so it’s sometimes a different way of playing, and we have to understand, they have to understand, especially the young players, that there is phases in the season.
"Nowadays it’s normal with a lot of games, things are going to change, but he is there, he’s fighting, he’s training, so he’s one more option for us to win games."

How can a team be playing with only 2 midfielders in a top flight competition like EPL and think you will be successful. Even Guardiola tiki taka at Barca was not successful against top EPl teams, Ancelotti Conquering spreading tactis at AC Milan and Real Madrid find it difficult against English Opponents. I pity Man United board cos this damage will be hard to fix when it becomes late.
you've forgotten about who owned you in 2 UCL finals, struggling against fake big 6 my butt

Most of the United supporter are not known about the truth...they have blame to the Coach, but it's the main problem is His salary not the coach. So please trust the process. & support your team until you die.
something must happen behind the scene. amorim don't take bull shit and kobbie is not the same after back from injury. no one would want him to leave especially we as united fans. but if he can get more minutes out there and come back stronger by going out on loan, I wouldn't mind.

Not a Man United fan but it’s obvious that Amori’s mission is to destroy the club more. Within few months he joined the club, he is already having misunderstanding with many players. Anyway, I love to see Man United go deeper and deeper digging for gold! 🤣

Mainoo should just calm down. Atferall league just started and there are still many matches to be played. There's no big club in the world u can tolerate ur attitude. Let me guided bro
you guys find ways to defend nonsense, the nonsense tactics Amorin is playing with only losing and drawing as a result is satisfied by you right. why won't he change that formation and give us a winning formation, Every player that complains he sidelines the player, in less than a year coach is having issues with all the young players, you will be calm till you finally shout sack Amorin.

With the world cup coming soon the English hooligans will try all tricks in the book to force coaches to play their mediocre players. Mainoo hasn't been the same since his injury. Let him go MU needs all the money they can get. Even if he is given game time the very people wanting him to play will ignore his weaknesses. I hope he plays tonight.

So Amorim is that parent that sends away their kids somewhere else because they're not listening to him instead of fixing the problem 😕 what a father he's. if you have a problem with more than 5 people that's mean you are the problem not them 🤬

This Amorim is now destroying MU like ETH does : selling best players and buying average players.
You have to balance the books with regards to PSR, and only sales of homegrown players can do the magic. So, get some knowledge, and besides, it's not Amorim who's in charge of balancing the books
