Arsenal news: The Gunners are yet to be successful under Stan Kroenke in sports after failing to win the Premier League this season

Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke's impressive record with his sport franchises has continued after the Denver Nuggets were crowned 2023 NBA champions.

Since Kroenke became majority shareholder of the north London outfit, the Gunners have failed to win the Premier League. The only success they have managed to produce is in domestic cups, with four FA Cup titles and four Community Shields.

Arsenal spent 30 gameweeks as league leaders, only to fall short in April after failing to beat Liverpool, West Ham, Southampton and Man City. Back-to-back defeats to Brighton and Nottingham Forest handed the title to Pep Guardiola's side, with many slamming the Gunners' 'bottle' to win their first league title in 19 years.

Next season will present Arteta's men with another opportunity to end their wait and Kroenke has sent them a clear blueprint on how to follow the Nuggets' success. Speaking after the 94-89 win over Heat, the Gunners owner said: "I always say if you want to win a championship you've got to go get it.

"Nobody's going to make it available to you. And the guys over there are really good. We've got a good group."
