Kroos teases Mount at the final whistle: Revenge a year later

Toni Kroos imitated the gesture that Mason Mount made at the end of the Champions League quarter final second leg, in a quarrel that dates back to last year.

The Chelsea midfielder hit out at the German after the Blues' elimination of Los Blancos last campaign, and the German finally got his revenge.

When the tie between Real Madrid and Chelsea was drawn last season, Kroos analysed Thomas Tuchel's side.

"Individually, no player has made me lose sleep in 15 years," Kroos said at the time.

"They play well as a team, but I couldn't single out any of them."

After managing to eliminate Los Blancos in the semi-finals 3-1 on aggregate, the England midfielder took the opportunity to leave a message for the German in the mixed zone.

"I saw one of your players say that no individual player was keeping him awake at night. Maybe he should lose sleep over our team. We could have scored more than five goals," he said.

"Still sleeping ok. But well done yesterday," Kroos responded. "Congrats. Good luck in your first CL (Champions League) final."

This season, however, Real Madrid managed to eliminate Chelsea and Kroos got his 'revenge'.

Real Madrid TV cameras captured a scene during the celebrations at full time, and Kroos could be seen imitating Mount's gesture, with his hand on forehead and looking at the ground.
