KYLE WALKER will apologise to Arsenal coach Nicolas Jover after their bust-up.
The defender exploded as Jover offered a handshake following this month's 1-0 loss at the Emirates — after he refused to shake hands with Manchester City players twice last term.
Jover sought out Walker at the end as he sparked an ugly bust-up.
The furious City skipper snubbed the gesture and squared up to the set-piece coach, part of Pep Guardiola's Etihad staff for two years before joining Arsenal in 2021.
City won both Prem games last season, 3-1 at Arsenal in February and then 4-1 in April, to pip their rivals to the title.
Jover stood with hands behind his back after both games and made it clear he would not shake hands.
Walker, preparing for England's Euro 2024 qualifier with Italy at Wembley tonight, said: “I don't like losing. A couple of matches before, Nico did not want to shake hands when we beat them.
“When we lost, he wanted to shake my hand and I did not take it lightly. I will probably reach out to him. It was probably a bit too much.
“It was a big match there and losing in the way we did and so late on hurt.”
Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish were also involved in a spat with members of the Gunners' backroom team.
Arsenal star Ben White almost burst into fits of laughter as Grealish was beckoned down the tunnel.
His England team-mate Bukayo Saka, who missed the game through injury, calmed down Jover and ushered him away from the City stars.

can someone explain to me why ben white isn't been call to the national team?
You all were wrong about Ben white.Ben white was chosen to World Cup but he has an issue with South Gate and began to insult South Gate so South Gate banned him not to play for England squad again

Jover was trying to tell Walker how it hurts when you lose a game especially when it's going to end your title hope. He allegedly refused now he was trying Walker who has always tried after games to make mockery and he Walker now does the same. He now understands what feeling Jover always had after losing

I want to see all those people who blamed Walker for the entire episode and some even claimed that ManCity players are sore losers. It's a clear case of provocation here. The same man refused the courtesy when Arsenal lost, but after their win he especially looked for Walker to shake hands. Hypocrite
Did you see him refuse? Guess you have a ton of videos to prove that? How did he manage to refuse walker 20 times and no one said a word, guess city still don't have fans, the ones they rent from brokalona don't care?

My views on the matter is that, the two times Arsenal lost to city and he refused to shake hands but no insult. I expected walker to replicate the same without insult. Then case closed.
Hello, the game is called football, guessing you haven't seen it before, let me educate you. Support staff don't shake hands with everyone after every game. If they did, matches would be 5 hrs long. Players are asked to shake hands as they were playing a physical game. Support staff wasn't in the fighting ring. Managers shake each other's hands and assistant manager, and if any other support staff offers while doing so. By the time players reach the bench, support staff are already back to dressing room or whatever they go if they aren't celebrating. Now you see why noone knew he didn't shake hands is because he wasn't there. This time they were celebrating so he stuck around. And if you didn't know, he was citys support staff too so he knows the city players. I would say stop blabbing, but considering city didn't have fans till messi left brokalona, I don't expect much
