Kylian Mbappé on Ballon d'Or winner - 'I know I won't win it this year'

Kylian Mbappé: "Ballon d'Or? I know I won't win it this year, but it's hard to choose between two friends like Dembele and Hakimi. What matters is that their performances are recognized." 

Mbappe took an interview recently by Lequipe and opens up on several questions like Ballon d'Or winner, Deschamps' successor and so on.

"Zidane as next France coach? Nobody is going to say no. Only he can say no. If it's him, fine! If it's someone else, fine again. Zizou is the only one in French football history who has almost all the rights."

The interviewer asks him "Does Kylian Mbappé have the right to fail?" Mbappé answers: "No. But that's why they also hold you in high esteem. Because you accept all this, you are resilient and you always want to win. I've never wanted to accept failure, so it doesn't bother me to be criticized for it. I'm very demanding with myself, more demanding than most, so I take it very calmly."
