Kylian Mbappe continues to be heavily linked with an exit from Paris Saint-Germain this summer with his contract set to expire in 12-months

The report states that one other Premier League side are also interested in Mbappe, who wants to see out his contract in Paris. RMC Sport add that Al-Hilal submit a €200m (£173.1m) bid to PSG for his signature, with a €400million (£346.2m) contract over two years.

It's said that the Saudi Arabian outfit would also allow Mbappe to join Real Madrid the following year. However, while Chelsea, Al-Hilal and Los Blancos may be able to fund his departure, the Frenchman could be swayed by a hypothetical approach from Arsenal – a club which has housed some of his childhood heroes.

So, with that being said, football.london has taken a look at the five options he has this summer.

Real Madrid

Mbappe has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid for a number of years now. In an interview with BBC Sport last year, the forward was asked if his dream of playing for the Spanish titans is over after he signed a contract extension at PSG.

"Never over. Never over," he replied. "The only thing is that now I have signed a contract for three years more. You never know what can happen in the future. I give up to think about the future, I only think about the present and the present is I signed a new contract for three years more at Paris Saint-Germain."

He added: "I spoke to the president of Real Madrid because I have a lot of respect for him and the club. I think it was important to say it personally that I wasn’t going to go. To be a great player [you have] to be honest and everything was great and good because we have a good relationship."

Chelsea

Chelsea could have signed Mbappe at the age of 12, but they turned down the chance. Fast forward a couple of years and the Blues could finally rectify their mistake!

"I played up front, but I don't think I scored," said Mbappe. "It was great – it was my first experience abroad and a chance for me to see what the game was like in England."

Former Chelsea scout Daniel Boga recalled the moment in an interview with Goal in 2018. He said: "I remember what the mother [Fayza] said to this day. She said to me, 'Listen, my boy won't be coming back. If they want.'"

Arsenal

Mbappe is known to be a long admirer of Arsene Wenger and he almost joined the Gunners towards the end of his time at AS Monaco. In an interview with beIN Sports in 2017, as quoted by the Metro, the former Arsenal manager said: "The player would tell you that I was at his home last year to try to get him here.

"He was at the end of [his] contract but Monaco managed to keep him and the decision was very, very tight."

Al-Hilal

As aforementioned, Al-Hilal can reportedly offer both PSG and Mbappe a significant financial package. While a move to the Middle East may not be his first choice, RMC Sport have claimed that the Saudi Arabian outfit will let him join Real Madrid next year – his 'dream' destination.

PSG

If Mbappe does not fancy a move to Saudi Arabia or the Premier League and PSG don't want to sell to Real Madrid then the Frenchman will be left no choice but to see out his contract in the French capital. Ultimately, this could be the best outcome for the forward, who will have complete control over his future.
