The famous football video game will feature a new cover, for the MVP edition published by LAFC, with Carlos Vela as the main character. The Supporters' Shield winners unveiled through their Twitter account the cover where the current MLS top scorer is displayed, a cover that can be downloaded through the team's website.
Carlos Vela netted his goal 30th of the season against Houston in the 3-1 victory that saw them lift the Supporters' Shield trophy, leaving him within a single strike of Josef Martínez's single-season record of 31 set in 2018, and two goals short of surpassing the Atlanta United striker's mark for the current campaign.
The LAFC captain is heading to the MVP title of the 2019 MLS season; a road without delays he set since the start of the campaign, leaving behind the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
