Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has welcomed Danny Welbeck back to Arsenal as the England forward recovers from two ankle surgeries.
Lacazette posted a photo on his Instagram story of Welbeck laughing on the treatment table.
The France international captioned the photo with emojis surrounded by hearts and Welbeck's Instagram handle.
The former Manchester United striker was was carried off midway through the first half of Arsenal's clash with Sporting Lisbon at the start of the month.
The club haven't set a timeline for how long the 27-year-old will be out of action for but it is feared he may miss the rest of the season.
Welbeck's contract expires at the end of the season so he may have played his last game for the club.
The Arsenal forward has missed over 80 games for the club since his £16million move to the Gunners in 2014.
Unai Emery's side looked comfortable in Welbeck's absence during the north London club's 3-0 victory over Vorskla on Thursday.
Arsenal have a chance to go above bitter rivals Tottenham with a win in the north London derby on Sunday.
