Rio Ferdinand has backed Senne Lammens to hold down the Manchester United goalkeeper position for the next decade.
Lammens joined United from Royal Antwerp last summer.
The Belgian has made 30 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils this season, and ranks second in the division for goals prevented (6.3), behind Brighton's Bart Verbruggen (6.5).
At 23, Lammens has his best years to come, and former United defender Ferdinand has no doubt over the goalkeeper's potential.
"The calmness that he's brought, the amount of saves that he's made and the difference-making that he's made with this team, I don't think you can put a number on that," Ferdinand said on the Rio Ferdinand Presents podcast.
"He's been superb and he's young. That's what I love about him, he's young, he's still going to be getting more experience and he's only going to get better from now on.
"I don't think it matters how good or bad he plays, I think he'll be the same level – very level-headed and he won't get out of his pram too much about anything.
"I think he's one for the next 10 years at Manchester United, he's going to be the number one. He's someone again, got a definite great foundation to start building from what he's shown this season."
United are third in the Premier League with two games remaining. They face Nottingham Forest and Brighton before the season is up.

Senne Lammens is gold... We must acknowledge the wisdom of Ruben & United board for bringing Lammens, Cunha, Mbuembo, Sesko & Dorgu @ the theatre of dreams
All these prayers u mentioned here are nothing without a good coach, first of all give thanks to Carrick, he came and knows the potential of those prayers and he used them very well to achieve top 3 in the league....I'm an Arsenal fan but come rain, come sun i believe in Carrick.

He was exactly what they needed, very valuble for the team. For a goalkeeper to bring calm and a sense of security in the back it effects a lot. The feel of trust and confidence to handle the oppositions attacks, sometimes it's just as much of a mindsgame as it is a physical sport.

More glory to the scout that spotted and endorsed this Lammens. Who could have imagined this, a rookie from Royal Antwerp of all clubs in this world?
