Barcelona president Joan Laporta discussed the situations involving Dro-Fernández and during an interview with Catalunya Ràdio's 'Midnight Club' program.
Regarding Dro-Fernández, who is on the verge of transferring to Paris Saint-Germain, Laporta did not mince his words:
"'We will discuss it in detail once everything is finalized. He has announced that he will not be staying, which is an unpleasant situation. We could have turned things around, but this matter came as a complete surprise.'
'We had previously finalized a solution for his development after turning 18, but surprisingly, his agent informed us that they were unable to fulfill the prior agreement. We will do our utmost to ensure the outcome aligns with Barça's best interests as much as possible.'"
