Laporta discharged after hospitalization for arrhythmia

Barcelona President Laporta confirmed via social media that he has been discharged from the hospital after being admitted for arrhythmia.

Laporta wrote on social media:

I have been discharged from the hospital!!! Going home!!!

Once again, I would like to thank all the male and female doctors, male and female nurses, and all medical staff, nursing assistants, and cleaning staff in the emergency department, ICU, laboratory, anesthesiology department, cardiology department, radiology department, endoscopy department, and other different departments of the Barcelona hospital.

Special thanks to Dr. Calizaya, Dr. Romera, and Dr. Arbesú for their medical and humanistic care, and especially to Dr. Xavier Sanz. He is an excellent internist and our medical advisor for health issues at Barcelona Football Club.

Also, thanks to Dr. Paula Saludes, Medical Director of the Barcelona hospital, who has been following and understanding the entire situation, and promptly informing us of all measures the hospital would take for this specific case, while strictly adhering to the confidentiality principles required in such situations.

The organizational management and medical and humanistic services of the Barcelona hospital are exemplary.

Finally, I also want to take this opportunity to affirm the sponsorship agreement renewed between Barcelona Football Club and Assistència Sanitària.
