Laporte reveals huge cut on his thigh from clash with Armstrong

During Manchester City's 1-1 draw away at Southampton on Saturday, Aymeric Laporte suffered a nasty cut in a collision with Stuart Armstrong.

Armstrong was only shown a yellow card, even though VAR checked it for a possible red.

Despite the dropping of points and despite the pain of the tackle, Laporte joked about it afterwards.

"Thanks for the souvenir," he wrote on social media, while sharing a photo of his bloody thigh.
