Le Boeuf: Man utd should consider zaire-Emery, Carrick can coach him well

The Manchester Evening News reported that Manchester United has been advised to target Paris Saint-Germain's Zaire-Emery as a midfield reinforcement this summer. Le Boeuf stated that this acquisition would be excellent for Manchester United, and that Carrick, who played in the same position as Zaire-Emery during his playing career, could offer professional development advice to the youngster.

Strengthening the midfield is Manchester United's top priority this summer. The team is close to finalizing the transfer of Ederson, having reached an agreement with Atalanta. The Red Devils' management hopes to acquire more than just this one midfielder.

Zaire-Emery, 20, has nearly 200 first-team appearances and recently won another Champions League title with Paris Saint-Germain. However, with a solid midfield lineup at Paris, he may find it difficult to secure consistent playing time.

The midfield combination of Vitinha, João Neves, and Fabian Ruiz has performed exceptionally well. Should Zaire-Emery seek a transfer, Manchester United and manager Carrick are considered ideal destinations, as their on-field positions are identical.

Manchester United had previously been monitoring several homegrown Premier League midfielders, including Elliot Anderson, Carlos Baleba, Adam Wharton, and Sandro Tonali. The team is now also considering overseas options for midfield recruits.

World Cup winner Frank Leboeuf said: "I think this signing would be very good for Manchester United, but he also needs the cooperation of his teammates to perform to his full potential.

I highly commend Carrick's performance as a player and as a manager for Manchester United. He played in the same position as Zaire-Emery, and I'm sure he can offer professional development advice. A move to Manchester United would be a great option for this young player. Zaire-Emery is a tough player who is willing to give his all for the team, there's no doubt about that. As for whether he's ready for a transfer, I'm not yet certain.

His form this season has been inconsistent; he performed adequately in the latter half, but his performance was sluggish in the first six months, leading to him missing most matches, perhaps also because he was contemplating leaving at the time."

Casemiro has left Manchester United, as the club did not renew his contract. The Brazilian player rediscovered his form under Carrick, but due to his age, the team ultimately decided to let him go.

Additionally, the club is open to transfer offers for Ugarte, which further intensifies the team's need to strengthen the midfield. Kobbie Mainoo's form improved after Carrick took charge, and he has re-established himself as a regular starter in the first team.
