Leeds have been charged with failing to control their players during the closing minutes of their 3-2 defeat at Chelsea.
The FA's disciplinary chiefs accuse Marcelo Bielsa's players of losing control, and behaving in a disorderly fashion towards referee Chris Kavanagh after his decision to award a penalty against them in the 93rd minute.
Kavanagh ruled Mateusz Klich had fouled Antonio Rudiger from behind, and Jorginho scored from the spot, his second successful penalty of the game and the winning goal.
If Leeds accept the charge they will receive a standard fine from the FA, as Chelsea did when they accepted a similar charge, following a red card for Reece James during a game at Liverpool in September.
The west London club were fined £25,000 on that occasion but escape without charge from Saturday's game at Stamford Bridge.
Both Chelsea and Leeds will also be formally warned by the FA and reminded of their responsibilities, relating to a separate incident on the full-time whistle, on Saturday.
A touchline confrontation between Kai Havertz and Junior Firpo erupted into a mass of pushing and shoving.
Rudiger and Diego Llorente were also involved and Firpo booted Bielsa's touchline bucket as he stormed angrily down the tunnel.
Leeds have the worst disciplinary record in the Premier League with 46 yellow cards, seven more than Newcastle, who are second in the list.
'I don't think we're a violent team,' said Bielsa on Monday.
'I haven't observed this subject. Sometimes it's casual and the details generate yellow cards. Sometimes it is an excess of enthusiasm.'

Why chelski got away with it? They' ve been involved in fracas in every season? BTW, the winning penalty was probably the softest one awarded this season. How could the thug, rudeger just dropped to the ground when he came into contact with the defender's shoelaces?
