Leeds United have confirmed the signing of winger Jack Harrison, who has arrived on a season-long loan deal from Premier League champions Manchester City.
The 21-year-old travelled to Yorkshire on Monday, where he undertook a medical with Leeds before completing his move.
Harrison spent last season with Middlesbrough to collect valuable playing time, and will look to be a key part of new boss Marcelo Bielsa's plans this season.
It is understood the good relationship between Bielsa and City boss Pep Guardiola was a key factor in getting the move over the line.
Harrison played over 50 games in the MLS for New York City prior to his move to City, and outlined his desire to hit the ground running in his new chapter with Leeds.
'I'm very excited about this opportunity, it's all happened pretty quickly and I am happy to be here,' Harrison told the club's official website.
'I heard about the interest last week whilst I was on pre-season with Manchester City and I'm looking forward to this new experience.
'Leeds United is a great club, there is a lot of history and I want to be a part of that, we want to get promoted this year and I hope to be able to help do that.
'I spoke with Pep Guardiola about Marcelo Bielsa and he had a lot of encouraging words and a lot of Pep's ideas and philosophies are built around some of the same ones here as well, so obviously those similarities are helpful.'
