Superb goals from Jamie Vardy and James Maddison lifted Leicester City into second as Brendan Rodgers' side made light work of Arsenal.
Match Reports
Leicester City moved into second in the Premier League as goals from Jamie Vardy and James Maddison downed Arsenal 2-0 to cap a dominant display at the King Power Stadium.
Heading into Saturday's encounter in search of a fourth successive league win, Leicester failed to capitalise on some basic errors from Arsenal prior to Vardy's well-worked 68th-minute strike - his 11th of the season.
Wilfred Ndidi had previously gone the closest to breaking the deadlock, hitting the crossbar early in the second half, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had a goal rightly ruled out for offside at the other end.
Maddison settled the game with a fantastic second, making sure Brendan Rodgers' side continued their sparkling form and, temporarily at least, slot in behind former employers Liverpool in the table.

33' CLOSE! Vardy misses a good chance
Chambers does brilliantly to deny Vardy a tap in at the far post. Perez plays a superb cross into the box and Chambers has to slide in, whilst facing his own goal and nick the ball away from Vardy, who would surely of converted from there.
42' CLOSE! Maddison's free-kick inches wide
Maddison takes the free-kick and it ripples the top of the net, with Leno stood watching it, he wasn't getting anywhere near that.
49' CLOSE! Ndidi hits the crossbar
The Foxes kept hold of the ball and worked it back into the box, Pereira sprints past Torreira down the right, who gets beaten far too easily and he then drags it back to Ndidi, who was in plenty of space, but his effort strikes the bar and bounces away.
55' OFFSIDE! Aubameyang's goal disallowed
Aubameyang has the ball in the back of the net, after Kolasinac finds the striker in behind and he races through, sliding it past Schmeichel and into the back of the net. However, the flag goes up for offside straight away and it's ruled out, with VAR agreeing with the decision.
68' GOAL! Leicester 1-0 Arsenal (Vardy)
It's a lovely move by the Foxes, with Pereira playing a quick cross to Barnes on the edge of the box, who then flicks it to Tielemans, who then lays it off to Vardy in the box, he then slides it past Leno and into the back of the net
75' GOAL! Leicester 2-0 Arsenal (Maddison)
This time Vardy turns provider, after Tielemans finds the striker and it lays it back to Maddison on the edge of the box, who drills the ball through the legs of Bellerin and straight into the bottom left-hand corner of the net, with Leno not moving.

Emery after the game: “Good ebening. We lost 3-0 here last season and now just 2-0. The defence’s much improved since last year. Next season we shouldn’t lose more than 1-0.”
