Barcelona did incredibly well to prevent Liverpool from scoring an away goal in their Champions League semi-final on Wednesday evening, and Clement Lenglet was forced to suffer more than most as he lost a piece of his tooth.
The former Sevilla centre-half was entrusted with the task of keeping Mohamed Salah at bay for the entirety of the match, although it was a collision with the Egyptian which left the defender with the facial injury.
"I lost a bit of a tooth, but it's not serious, I'm happy to keep losing pieces on a regular basis if we continue to win," Lenglet explained in an interview with Radio Monte.
Salah had a few chances to keep Liverpool in the tie at the Camp Nou, particularly with an open net in the minutes immediately following Messi's free kick, but he couldn't find a way past Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
"It was a difficult match, I had to adapt the distance I had to keep Salah at," he intimated.
"You can't leave space for him to play the ball, but at the same time you have to be close enough to make a challenge.
"These games are always difficult, but after the start I found it a bit easier to analyse how far I should keep my back to goal."

Smalling tried it in the UCL quarters by injuring Messi and the whole Manchester United paid the price. James milner attempted to injure Messi in the Semi final first leg and Messi didn't take it lightly. I hope Leo isn't going to demand for Leglet's missing tooth at Anfield.
