Levante 3-1 Barca: Catalans shocked as they suffer 3rd league defeat this season

Three second-half goals in the space of seven minutes has seen Levante shock the La Liga log leaders after Leo Messi had put Barcelona ahead in the first half.

Barcelona fell apart as Levante scored three times in seven second-half minutes to claim a dramatic 3-1 LaLiga victory.

Lionel Messi, who returned to the Argentina squad this week, made it six goals in his last five games with a first-half penalty that appeared to have leaders Barca on course to extend a seven-match winning streak in all competitions.

But after Luis Suarez went off injured, an astonishing spell saw Jose Campana, Borja Mayoral and Nemanja Radoja all score as the match was turned on its head.

Barca's defeat means Real Madrid, who face Real Betis later on Saturday, have the chance to go top of the table with a victory.

He swivels and fires a fierce right-footed shot past Ter Stegen. The keeper does get a hand on it, but it's just too powerful for him to keep out!

IT'S 3-1!!! A phenomenal turnaround from Levante!!! Lenglet heads a free-kick clear, but only as far as Radoja and he thunders a magnificent volley beyond Ter Stegen from the centre of the box! Levante now two goals ahead in the space of seven minutes!!

GOAL DISALLOWED!! Messi gets a little lucky as the ball takes a slight touch off a Levante defender, but he shows wonderful skill to get it under control and take it past Clerc, then tucking a low shot beyond Fernandez. But Griezmann is offside in the build-up and VAR rules it out! Still 3-1!
