FC Barcelona are now in Vigo. The team's plane landed at 12.20 and the weather was good for once in the Galician city, where rain is not expected today despite frequent downpours in recent days.
Ernesto Valverde's side travelled to Vigo with four notable absences, Gerard Pique, Andres Iniesta, Sergio Busquets and Rakitic and will face a Celta side that have won their last two Liga games against the Catalans at Balaidos, scoring eight goals. The biggest surprise in the Barça squad was Colombian defender Yerry Mina.
When the team exited the airport and went towards their bus they caused a stir among the fans who went to see the stars up close. As it was a working day and not a weekend, the number of fans that came to see the players arrive was smaller than in previous years, with around 50 people turning up.
The fans were delighted when the players stopped to sign autographs and take selfies with them. Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez got the most requests and they waited patiently to ensure no-one left without getting their signature. The Barça fans were "amazed" to see their idols up close and one of them said "I don't believe it".
Philippe Coutinho also signed lots of autographs, as did Ernesto Valverde before the team embarked for their hotel by the sea in Alcabre, a Vigo town close to the Balaidos stadium.
