The Egypt star was again missing from the scoresheet as the Reds defeated Spurs at Wembley
Mohamed Salah, again, failed to score despite Liverpool running the rule over Tottenham Hotspur in a tensed English Premier League clash on Saturday, and Jurgen Klopp insists ‘it is no problem’ as they have more than one goalscorer.
Goals from Georginio Wijnaldum and Roberto Firmino saw the Reds muster a 2-1 win at Wembley, with Salah on the periphery in the first half before showing glimpses of his dangerous self as the game wore on.
The Premier League top scorer for last season has barely kicked on from his 34-goal heroics, netting just twice in five 2018-19 league games.
And Klopp, glad to have goals coming from other players, said he does not expect a ‘perfect season’ from the Uefa Player of the Year second runners-up.
“That was always clear. Of course, it's important that we don't have only one goalscorer,” Klopp said in a post-match conference.
“Do you have to wait for those problems to happen to know if you can deal with them, or do you think you are genuine title contenders?
“I don't have the personality that waits for problems, but I'm also old enough to know that they will come.
“We all have the same situation in a football team. I'm long enough in this business to know that nobody plays a perfect season. Not even City last season played a perfect season.
“It's no problem. It's sThe Egypt star was again missing from the scoresheet as the Reds defeated Spurs at Wembleytill early, five games, fantastic we've won all of them, we have improved during that.
“So far, the best performance was the first matchday but that depended a bit on the opponent may be, and now this today was by far the best performance of the season.
“I like that development, to be honest, and now we have to prove that and to do it again and again and again. We will see if we can do so.”

Somehow I feel something is wrong in the attack.Everyone wants to score and are behaving selfish. When there is a better chance to score if they gave a pass they are trying to score themselves.Saw that a lot from Mane,Keita and Wjnaldum. Especially I feel something is wrong btn Mane and Salah.Seems like Mane has become a bit more selfish and jealous of Salah. He isn't passing the ball to Salah when Salah has a open goal or better chance. He either passed it to other side or took a shot himself While Salah always passed to Mané selflessly. See all the matches compared to last season Salah isn't getting the ball as much,if he did get there would have been more goals and Liverpool would be in 1st place.Still I hope this changes and Salah also gets some goals.

Klopp has raised the profile of Liverpool. Everyone around the country now wants Liverpool to destroy Man City. Owned by Man Sour. Let's be honest. If liverpools new goalkeeper was in goal in last seasons Euro Cup Final, Liverpool would be champions of Europe. I'm just trying to remember who knocked Man City out of Europe last season, even though they had a real poor goalkeeper.
