MO SALAH and Luis Diaz scored a goal in each half to round off a perfect Anfield Premier League debut for new boss Arne Slot.
Match Report
It's two goals from two for the Egyptian ace as Brentford defended bravely but ultimately came out on the wrong side of a 2-0 scoreline.
Not the usual blood and thunder associated with Liverpool who played with lots of control.
But Luis Diaz notched a prime Jurgen Klopp goal after a devastating counter attack assisted by Diogo Jota.
Brentford had their moments without creating anything clear cut while Liverpool were living dangerously in defence during the first 45.
Liverpool stepped up the ante in the second half, as Diaz was a hairline away from doubling the lead in the 64th minute.
Before Mo Salah bagged his second Prem goal of the season with a tidy corner finish past Mark Flekken - who kept the visitors at bay at times.
Sub Darwin Nunez missed a glorious chance in the 85th minute - but luckily his header was offside anyway.
It was Virgil van Dijk's 100th Prem game at Anfield - he's only lost twice. As Liverpool secured their second 2-0 victory of the campaign.

Arnold is been selfish and childish, why would he be angry? Give others chance too this is how arrogance destroy lots of players. Just be careful boy.

Ronaldo went to Man United as a teenager. Also, Ronaldo between 2006 to 2009 was a beast in Man U. Ronaldo 2008 is probably the player in history of football. He has won every trophy and individual award that year. Perhaps Only Messi 2012 can compete with him but only in terms of individual performances not trophies of course.
