Liverpool eased into the fifth round of the FA Cup in their first game since Jurgen Klopp announced he would be leaving the club at the end of the season.

The German received a rapturous reception from the home faithful at Anfield on Saturday, and led team to a 5-2 victory with Curtis Jones opening the scoring.

Jones headed in at the far post to give his side the lead, before Ben Gibson pegged the hosts back, however, with a header of his own, before Darwin Nunez made it 2-1 with a smart finish following good work from Connor Bradley.

Diogo Jota added a third at the start of the season half when Ben Gibson failed to deal with a long ball, volleying in before substitute Virgil van Dijk added a fourth.

Borja Sainz came off the bench for Norwich to grab a second with a fine finish from distance, though Liverpool saw the game out, scoring a fifth via Ryan Gravenberch book their spot in the next round.
