MATCH EVENTS:
4' GOAL! Liverpool 1-0 Spartak Moscow (Coutinho PENALTY)
PENALTY! Giorgi Jikia brings down Salah in the box. Liverpool have the chance to settle their nerves early on...
Coutinho staggers his run up before placing the penalty straight into the bottom right corner, with Alexander Selkihov diving the other way.
10' A dinked pass from Coutinho is over the top of the Spartak defence. Mane chases it to the byline and tries to fire it goalwards, but it hits the side netting. His teammates will be a little frustrated as there were two players on the line of the six yard box waiting for the tap in.
15' GOAL! Liverpool 2-0 Spartak Moscow (Coutinho)
Great team play once again from Liverpool and this time Philippe Coutinho slots it into the bottom right corner from the left of the box.
Sadio Mane set the attack off before some one touch passing between Firmino and Salah completely unlocked the Spartak defence, leaving Coutinho in acres of space to roll the ball home.
19' GOAL! Liverpool 3-0 Spartak Moscow (Firmino)
The ball deflects off the heel of Jikia to allow Mane charge towards the Spartak defence.
He chips it in towards Roberto Firmino and it takes a fortunate deflection off a defender, before the Brazilian forward is able to latch onto the ball at the second attempt, firing his half-volley into the left corner. Liverpool are in dreamland.
33' Spartak with a bit of controlled possession for the first time in the game. They look to be carving an opening through the Liverpool defence but Wijnaldum sticks a toe out to intercept the pass and clear the danger.
Alberto Moreno goes off injured as James Milner replaces him.
44' Moreno's evening is over as James Milner replaces him. He hobbled off injured after blocking one of the flurry of efforts from Spartak a few minutes ago. He tried to play on but it proved to be worse than he thought.
47' GOAL! Liverpool 4-0 Spartak Moscow (Mane)
Coutinho runs towards the Spartak box, drawing two defenders towards him before rolling the ball wide to Milner on the left wing.
He crosses first time on his weaker foot towards the back post, where Mane is there to acrobatically power home a volley into the back of the net. No chance for Selikhov and any fear of a Sevilla repeat will be vanquished with that goal.
50' GOAL! Liverpool 5-0 Spartak Moscow (Coutinho)
Coutinho has his hat-trick and surely that's game over for Spartak. It is great link up play again for Liverpool. Milner rolls the ball into the box for Coutinho to shoot.
His left-footed effort takes a wicked deflection off a defender before bouncing into the bottom-left corner of the goal.
74' The cross from the Spartak left is cleared by the Liverpool defenders but it only drops as far as Promes. The attacking midfielder takes one touch before firing a swerving effort towards the left post, which just narrowly flies wide.
76' GOAL! Liverpool 6-0 Spartak Moscow (Mane)
Sadio Mane makes it six and yet another swift attacking move from Jurgen Klopp's side. Salah played the ball into the right of the box before Sturridge rolled it towards the Senegal international.
It looked to be a little too far behind the winger but he managed to hang his foot back before poking it into the back of the net. Great goal and Liverpool have been utterly dominant.
85' GOAL! Liverpool 7-0 Spartak Moscow (Salah)
Salah finally gets the goal after an excellent performance this evening and Milner gets his third assist since coming on as a substitute.
The cross from the left wing towards the back post is brought down by Salah, who turns onto his right foot and away from the rushing defenders before firing the ball into the right of the net to send Anfield wild.

Boy oh boy Spartak Moskva were extremely terrible from the very start of the match. They didn't rattled Liverpool's defense throughout the game and Liverpool took full opportunity of it and hammered the Russian side.Firmino once again contributed firmly for his side, making him one one the most in form players around currently. Coutinho proved his worth and showed the reason why Barcelona desperately wants him to become their player.Mane was amazing too.Liverpool it seems has raised their level of attack and are continuously scoring so many goals in these last few matches.Liverpool top their table and progress to the next round of the Champions league.
