Liverpool are considering cancelling their August 6 friendly against Schalke to give them time to prepare for the Premier League opener with Norwich three days later.
The European champions begin their domestic campaign against the newly-promoted Canaries on Friday August 9.
And the Schalke friendly, Liverpool's final opportunity to prepare for the upcoming season, may well be scrapped.
The Premier League curtain raiser will be broadcast the launch the 2019-20 campaign.

Better to cancel and focus on recovery.. 1st match will be tough for us even Norwich just promoted from Championship League.. Learn from past which every clubs when promoted to EPL will make an impact like what Bournemouth, Leicester did a few years back.. So, be prepared..
