Liverpool only need a maximum of five wins and one draw to guarantee the Premier League title and Anfield chiefs are already looking towards the summer transfer window
April is here and it could be the month Liverpool are crowned English champions for a 20th time. The Reds are on course to match Manchester United's record in the coming weeks and if they're able to go on a winning run while Arsenal falter, Arne Slot and Co. will be confirmed as Premier League champions before the end of this month.
Liverpool don't have any other trophies to compete for, so they'll be laser-focussed on the league run-in. Off the pitch, Anfield chiefs will be looking towards the summer, especially after the recent bombshell news that Trent Alexander-Arnold has reportedly agreed to join Real Madrid on a free transfer.
The Reds could be forced into signing a new right-back to replace Alexander-Arnold, although the left-hand side of defence is a position which has already been targeted. Milos Kerkez has been tipped to join Slot's team but he won't come cheap.
Here's a round-up of the latest news from Anfield.
Kerkez price tag revealed
Liverpool will need to stump up £45million to sign rumoured left-back target Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth. Kerkez, 21, has been linked with a move to Anfield this summer with the view to becoming Andy Robertson's long-term replacement.
The Hungary international has been outstanding for the Cherries, who are in no rush to sell him and would only be interested in a straight cash deal. It's reported by the Times that Bournemouth chiefs have placed a £45m price tag on Kerkez and they're braced for offers once the summer transfer window opens.

Everton eye controversial transfer
Everton are plotting a shock £25million move for Liverpool winger Ben Doak. The 19-year-old is currently on loan at Championship side Middlesbrough and has impressed Everton boss David Moyes.
According to the Scottish Sun, Moyes is keen to test the waters for Doak, who'd become the first player to join Everton directly from Liverpool since Gary Ablett in 1992. Bournemouth and Crystal Palace are also said to be keen on the Scotland international.
Klopp's former No.2 lands new job
Peter Krawietz, who was part of Jurgen Klopp's coaching staff for over 25 years and followed him out of Liverpool last summer, has landed his first job since leaving Anfield. Krawietz, 53, has been appointed interim assistant manager to Zsolt Low at RB Leipzig.
Bundesliga side Leipzig parted ways with Marco Rose over the weekend in a decision which Klopp will've been involved in. The former Liverpool boss is Red Bull's global head of soccer, having started the role in January after six months off following his departure from Merseyside.
