Liverpool are targeting a move for Rennes defender Jérémy Jacquet (20) to replace Ibrahima Konaté (26) who could be set to leave the Premier League champions on a free transfer, according to a report from Sacha Tavolieri. The Frenchman’s contract at Anfield is set to expire at the end of the season.
With Konaté coming under increasing scrutiny in recent weeks and yet to sign a new deal, the Merseyside outfit appear to have identified a potential replacement. Jacquet has impressed since making his debut for Les Rouges et Noirs and has emerged as one of the hottest defensive prospects in Europe.
The Reds have scouted the young Frenchman extensively this season and have been impressed with his performances on multiple occasions. Several clubs are interested in signing the Rennes defender, who has made 15 appearances in Ligue 1 this season.

Young defender might take time to get used to Premier league body contact, set piece tactics n also the speed of the counter attacks... so if liverpool bought jacquet, i think he need time on all of that...
it's Liverpool story, please not Manu so keep it shut 💪💪
