The 58-year-old has managed Die Mannschaft since 2006, and broke the mark previously held by Sepp Herberger
Joachim Low has broken the record for most matches as Germany manager by taking charge of Saturday's game against the Netherlands.
Low was at the helm of Germany for the 168th time in the UEFA Nations League clash in Amsterdam, breaking the record previously held by Sepp Herberger.
The 58-year-old was Jurgen Klinsmann's assistant at the 2006 World Cup, helping Germany to a third-place finish at home.
Following the World Cup, Low took over from Klinsmann as Germany's manager, and has led Die Mannschaft to several notable achievements during his 12 years at the helm.
Most notably, Low helped Germany to the 2014 World Cup title, while also leading his nation to second place at Euro 2008, third place at the 2010 World Cup, and the 2017 Confederations Cup title.
Low handed Schalke forward Mark Uth his Germany debut against the Netherlands, making him the 100th player to earn their first Germany cap during Low's reign.

Ballack may say the darnest things but this time round he's spot-on. Löw has stayed beyond his due-by-date. Initially the WC squad selection was already questionable like a carbon copy of previous 2014. To further rub salt on wound he turned oblivious to the Özil controversy and worst of all backing some worn-out aging players even beyond the catastrophic 2018 WC. His lowest of Löw really came when his proclaimed master stroke of playing Kimmich and some other decent performers out of their natural positions. His team sheet looked a little like cheerleader pyramid with the bulky ones at the base of defence. Hummels and Boateng partnership obviously don't compliment each other like once before as they're equally slow and getting in each others' way and become predictable. Löw is nostalgic about his 2014 generals but they are beyond their twilight years, they are ragged and lack creativity so is Löw. I'm astonished that his 2017 Confed and UEFA U21 winners were made for keeps only and he failed miserably integrating it. Either that the veterans are fending off and he's obliging it for some reason only known to himself.

Their ungratefulness is destroying the team. What they did to a patriotic player like Ozil is punishing them. No player wants to be patriotic again after all their service will be insulted by Bayern Munich President m
