This Wednesday night, PSV Eindhoven's Hirving Lozano will have another opportunity to show his talent on the world stage and against his 'dream' club, Barcelona, with the Mexican winger currently in the form of his life.

'Chucky', as he is known, will be fired up for the Champions League clash with the Catalans after bagging a brace and an assist in PSV's win over Heerenveen at the weekend.

Coach Mark van Bommel will look to the Mexican to provide the firepower needed to surprise the Dutchman's former club at the Philips Stadion.

Lozano is enjoying his best spell since arriving in Europe having scored 10 goals and five assists in the Eredivisie so far - his best register at the corresponding stage of any season.

Playing in Europe's elite competition has been a step up for Lozano, but one that he is relishing and, despite the difficulty of the group, he has still managed a goal and an assist.

In total his figures read 13 goals and six assists compared to last season's tally at the equivalent part of the year of 11 goals and five assists.

The 23-year-old's progress is clear to see and while he's not lighting up the Champions League like he is the Dutch domestic competition, if he keeps up his current form he will boast his best ever figures come the end of the season.
