Luis Enrique: PSG are ready for the final part of the season

Luis Enrique believes his Paris Saint-Germain side are ready for the crucial part of the 2025-26 season following their win over Angers.

A rotated PSG side defeated Angers 3-0 on Saturday, with Lee Kang-in, Senny Mayulu and Lucas Beraldo scoring to extend their lead over Lens in Ligue 1 to six points.

Luis Enrique made seven changes to his starting line-up from the team that faced Nantes on Wednesday, equalling his joint-highest tally of alterations this season (also seven against Angers in August and Lorient in November).

PSG played a match without Ousmane Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia or Desire Doue, all of whom remained on the bench, for the third time this season in all competitions, following matches against Barcelona and Lille in early October when all three were absent.

With a six-point lead with four matches remaining and a superior goal difference, PSG now have a 99.4% chance of winning Ligue 1 according to the Opta supercomputer.

Luis Enrique hailed his team's performance, with their Champions League semi-final first leg against Bayern Munich up next on Tuesday.

"I think the result is fair," the Spaniard told Ligue 1+ after the win.

"It was a difficult match, with the conditions - the sun, the wind - but we played with focus, we stayed in the game. I'm very happy to have seen this performance."

"We're in a really good moment. Regardless of the team, regardless of the players, we're performing well, we're playing the same way.

"It's an almost perfect moment, in the final part of the league season, with the Champions League semi-finals. We're ready, we want to enjoy this moment. All of us Parisians are ready.

"We want to play this semi-final against one of the best teams in Europe right now. But we are the champions, we want to start this match."
