Luis Enrique did not understate the importance of Paris Saint-Germain's 3-1 victory over Toulouse in the context of the Ligue 1 title race.
The defending champions moved four points clear of Lens in the table at Parc des Princes on Friday thanks to goals from Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Dembele's 23rd-minute opener was quickly cancelled out by Toulouse captain Rasmus Nicolaisen, only for the PSG number 10 to restore his team's lead in the 33rd minute.
Goncalo Ramos secured all three points in the second minute of second-half stoppage time, though it was Kvaratskhelia that shone for Luis Enrique's side.
The Georgia international registered match-high totals for duels won (13), tackles won (four) and shots (six), while also completing all three of his dribbles, with only Lee Kang-In (four) creating more chances than his three.
It was a result that strengthened their grip on the top-flight title, with the Opta supercomputer now assigning PSG a 97.1% probability of lifting a 14th Ligue 1 crown.
"I'm very happy. We knew how important these three points were, especially as this match came after the international break," Luis Enrique told reporters.
"It's difficult to manage because we had a lot of players involved, most of them had travelled and played matches. It was the moment to win these three points.
"We played on a Friday, which made it even harder because we had one less day's rest, but the team showed its ability to handle this match.
"Now it's time to enjoy the weekend with some rest for the players, some rest for the team."
It was also a special match for defender Achraf Hakimi, who made his 200th appearance in all competitions for the Parisiens since joining them in July 2021.
Since his debut for the club, no player has played more minutes (16,100) and created more chances (305) for PSG than Hakimi, while only Kylian Mbappe (40) has more assists than the Moroccan international's 38 in that time.
Hakimi has won 11 major honours, which includes four Ligue 1 titles and their Champions League triumph last season.
The full-back echoed Luis Enrique's comments about the importance of the victory, though he did acknowledge the difficulties his team came up against.
"We knew it wouldn't be an easy game after the international break," Hakimi added.
"There's a lot of travelling and a lot of games, but I think we put in a very good performance, from the first minute until the end.
"We knew how important this match was, with Lens also having a very important match this weekend. With this win, we can put the pressure on them."
