The first squad of Luis Enrique's time in charge of the Spanish national team has already been published and now the coach is trying to work out who should make his starting XI, doing so with a Saturday night visit to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
The Asturian was at the stadium which he called home for five years as a player to see Real Madrid take on Leganes in LaLiga Santander, along with his coaching team of Rober Moreno, Rafel Pol and Joaquin Valdes.
Once at the stadium, he was sat in the box reserved for coaches and he spoke with the Real Madrid directors there, such as Emilio Butragueno.
