Romleu Lukaku is expected in Belgium on Friday for talks with his agent as Inter Milan close on a deal with Manchester United.
The 26-year-old striker came back from United's tour at 7.30am on Friday and headed straight across Manchester airport to catch another flight.
The £80m-rated Belgian has not figured on the tour, remaining on the sidelines, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer citing a minor injury.
However, the powerful 6ft 3ins forward has been looking to keep himself fit to join Antonio Conte at Inter.
The Italian coach has set his mind on Lukaku being the focus of his attack and was disappointed with his club's initial efforts to strike a deal with United.
Their last bid of £54million was rejected but United staff still expect a deal to be agreed with Inter before August 8.
Defining talks are expected to accelerate over the next 48 hours.

Lukaku is a good goal scorer but his overall play is lacking at times. He got lot of abuse from united fans last time but his price was too high which is the expectation of a world class or almost world class player. He shafted himself tbh. Why in God’s name did he think putting on “muscle mass” for the World Cup and then lose it before the season starts is a good idea. He was banging them in before just fine, and as someone who’s admitted that his weight affects his form, I won’t understand why he gambled like that You really think he did that just for one world cup?

If we lose Lukaku, we will be relying on Martial, Rashford, Sanchez, Greenwood and Chong for goals, I think this would be a massive mistake.

I’m not asking for a favor. I’m pointing out that you were all butthurt with Perisic (you wanted him, we were fine with him staying, so why should we do you a favor? ) but then want to turn around and give us the same thing. It’s called hypocrisy. I don’t want him, so I’m fine with y’all pettiness and continued butthurt over Perisic as long as it keeps Lukaku overvalued and out of our price range. I don’t want no fat second option striker.
