Romelu Lukaku has fired a message of advice to players who cannot deal with criticism from Jose Mourinho.
The Manchester United manager has endured his most tumultuous season at Old Trafford to date, coming to blows with Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial and Antonio Valencia in just a few short months.
The sideshows off the pitch have not masked poor performances on it, however. Mourinho's men are languishing in eighth place in the Premier League table and Lukaku himself has been incredibly goal shy by his standards, having not scored since September 15.
He maintains his relationship with the manager is good, but suggests those who have been on the receiving end of Mourinho's direct style of management must 'deal with it'.
'I think he has a good relationship with the players,' Lukaku told Bleacher Report.
'I don't really pay attention to what his relationship is with the other players, to be honest. I don't think it's something that should affect me.
'If he [Mourinho] has an argument with somebody I mean, deal with it, man. You're a grown-a*** man, deal with it.'
The Belgium international has scored just four goals for his club all season, which has certainly not helped to relieve United's plight.
Mourinho dropped Lukaku for the clash against the striker's former side Everton last month, citing that he wanted to protect him from criticism.
However, should he heed his own advice, Lukaku will be well equipped to cope with the withering attacks of his detractors.

The premier league is different from any other assignment. So if the team is having a hard time at home, it is for a reason. The players should know to adjust. Players, please watch how much effort other teams put in when they play against us. They are not playing like us. We need to play their game and beat them at it.

don't forget mourinoh's first season success at manu was a gift from zlatan. the fire power of ibrahimovich was the reason of the success. moyes brought fellani. van gaal introduced Rasford janujaz and depay. all these guys are performing well with manu and their respective clubs. and what has mourinoh apart from spending big on average players. for me moyes and van gaal are better than mourinoh however they were not given much time probe themselves. at least they were not throwing out of the window. how long is manu going to give mourinoh. that is the question.
