Lukaku reveals what he told Paul Pogba at half-time vs Bournemouth

Romelu Lukaku explained how he gave Paul Pogba advice at half-time of the win against Bournemouth which led to Manchester United's second goal.

Jose Mourinho had been critical of the way Manchester United played against West Bromwich Albion and blamed the players for making the play 'too complicated.'

And it appeared they had taken his criticism on board as United beat Bournemouth by scoring two clever but simple goals.

It was a defence splitting pass from Ander Herrera that opened up the opportunity for United's first while Pogba's driving run through midfield and precise ball to Lukaku gave United their second.

And the Belgium international explained he had given Pogba some advice in the dressing room at half-time before he was brought of the substitutes' bench in the second half.

"I think changes freshen people up but we always want to play as players," he said.

"It was very important we won today and we are prepared for the game at the weekend."
