Luton Town were on the verge of causing another FA Cup upset after taking the lead against Chelsea on Wednesday evening. However, Thomas Tuchel's side managed to turn things around - eventually winning the game 3-2 thanks to a late striker from Romelu Lukaku.
Match Report
The home team had the lead inside two minutes through Reece Burke and went in 2-1 up at the break through Harry Cornick, taking the lead again after Saul Niguez had equalised in the 27th minute with a perfectly-placed strike. It was his first goal for the club since joining on loan from Atletico Madrid last summer.
Staring at a fifth-round exit, Chelsea rallied again in the second half and grabbed two goals to turn the game on its head and avoid what would have been an embarrassing exit against the second-tier club in a week where the club will be keen to avoid any more negative publicity.
A cool finish from Timo Werner tied the game in the 68th minute and 10 minutes later he turned provider for the stretching Romelu Lukaku to turn home the winner.
Luton gave a good account of themselves and gave the Blues quite the scare, but it's Chelsea who advance to the next round and who'll be in the quarter-final draw.
