Leicester star Riyad Mahrez is closing in on a £75million move to Premier League champions Manchester City, according to reports.
Mahrez was desperate to force through a move to the Etihad in January, with the winger subsequently going AWOL after a deal collapsed.
But according to the Mirror, Mahrez now appears to be getting his wish with City currently finalising his agent's fees ahead of the big-money move.
After taking Mahrez back into the fold following his 10-day absence since his January move fell through, Leicester are now prepared to let the Algerian leave.
The 27-year-old has enjoyed an incredible career at Leicester, winning the Premier League in 2016 as well as scoring 39 goals in 139 top flight matches.
Meanwhile, the Foxes want to sign City winger Patrick Roberts with negotiations running separately.
Despite winning the Premier League in record-breaking fashion last season - becoming the first team to break the 100-point barrier - Guardiola is desperate to add to his formidable City squad.
City have also offered £40m for Italy international Jorginho but Serie A side Napoli want closer to £60m.

I think that leicester know that they should sell him reasonably. The player wants to go to city and if they leave it any longer then the price they'll get for him could get lower as potentially more superstars come on the market. I mean, supposing chelsea decide to sell hazard or psg decide to sell neymar or mbappe etc - unlikely scenarios but a small possiblity that would derail the mahrez situation. Better for both parties to get it done now for a reasonable price.

Manchester united can buys 70% of the world, but Manchester city buy's reasonable players, they buys point player's but Manchester united buys big names like ibrahimovics, Ronaldo to return back, usain bolt, and even talking about retired ZZ

Personified Okwytex according to the statement, city needs a forward that can play in different positions and Mahrez fits the need, he can play on both wing and as an attacking mid but more effective on the right flank. Brahim might be the boy to give Sane a run and for CF, we ve Nmecha who has the height and weight and he just needs time. I believe we shall see more of the 3 academy players currently in the senior squad next season. Trust in Pep, I ve noticed he doesn't put out academy players more often with loads of work on the kids and they ll fall short of expectation due to they need experience for healthy advancement. Brahim, Foden and Nmecha...

He might as well stay at Leicester or maybe move to a club where he can be guaranteed adequate mins. He will regret it if he ends up signing with Manchester City.
